One-Day Trek in Bukit Lawang, Mount Leuser National Park

For individuals seeking to experience the stunning Sumatran jungle within a constrained time frame, this trek presents an ideal opportunity. Participants will embark on a 6 to 7-hour hike through Mount Leuser National Park, which provides an immersive experience within this distinctive ecosystem, renowned for its diverse flora and fauna. Participants may anticipate encounters with the remarkable orangutans, alongside various other wildlife residing in this vibrant environment. Following a satisfying jungle lunch, participants will have the option to extend their trek for several additional hours before returning to Bukit Lawang via an exhilarating river rafting experience.

Minimum Participants:  2-3 individuals 

Maximum Participants: 4-8 individuals 

Inclusions:

– Permit to access Mount Leuser National Park, obtained from the PHPA Office (Forestry Ranger), as well as camera tax. 

– Authorization from the Bukit Lawang Guide Association. 

– Jungle lunch, including bottled water and fresh fruits. 

– Option for river tubing or walking back to Bukit Lawang.
